The Department of English was established in the year 2003 with B.A English. It grew into a post graduate department in the year 2012. The research degree M.Phil was introduced in the year 2015. The department is equipped with excellent library facilities and consists of well qualified experienced and talented teachers to handle the classes. It has been imparting high quality education along with well meant focus on research. The department offers firsthand knowledge, skills and values for a professional commitment to the students. The department motivates our students to participate in inter-collegiate elocution contests, debates andgroup discussions
